Renew James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act

More than fourteen years after the destruction of the World Trade Center, thousands of people who inhaled toxic air at the site of Ground Zero are still awaiting government help for the medical problems they’ve since suffered.

On December 22, 2010, the Senate passed an amended version of the bill H.R. 847, the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act,that reduces the bills cost to $4.3 billion over five years. A summary of the Senate's changes can be found here.

Thousands of people are coughing, struggling for their next breath and they need our help.
